Job overview
Asia International School Limited (AISL) has a worldwide reputation for excellence as a leading provider of education across Asia. Our AISL Harrow Schools draw directly on the 450-year heritage of Harrow School in the UK to provide the highest possible standards of education within our eleven school locations that presently span Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan and China. AISL Harrow will continue to grow its presence in the years ahead and a twelfth school is confirmed, opening in 2026.
At AISL, respect for history, heritage, and tradition is balanced by innovation. Our progressive teaching methodologies and distinctive curricula place us at the forefront of educational thinking. In all AISL Harrow Schools, we aim to inspire students to the highest levels of achievement in an ever-changing world, enabling them to establish lifelong learning interests and Harrovian leadership attributes as influential ‘shapers of the future’.
Achieving our dynamic and ambitious vision requires world-class educators. We recruit only the very best teachers and school leaders. A strong commitment to continuous professional development through the AISL Academy ensures that our teachers and leaders are equally supported and challenged, with access to first-class coaching, globally recognised qualifications, and best practice sharing.
As a Group, we are forward-looking, ambitious, and expansive. Our commitment to quality drives outstanding operational performance, underpinned by consistent enrollment growth and exciting new project development. When combined, our unique approach, our sector expertise, our sound financial status, and our history provide the foundations for the achievement of our mission: ‘Educational Excellence for Life and Leadership’.
As a consequence of our continued growth, we are seeking an exceptional and well-proven education leader to join our Education team based within the AISL Head Office in Hong Kong. The post-holder will work closely with our outstanding educators, Heads and senior leadership teams to drive and secure educational excellence, as well as to develop a culture of continuous improvement more widely across the Group. He/she will perform a key role in promoting, facilitating, and supporting ongoing individual school and Group-wide improvement and achievement, focused specifically upon our Upper Schools (Prep and Senior Schools - Years 6 to 13).
The post is well-suited to candidates who have substantial school senior leadership experience within all-through or secondary/senior settings within the UK and/or internationally and who can demonstrate significant sustained impact as an educational leader, quite possibly as a Head. Experience of working within a multi-school group environment would be helpful, but is not a pre-requisite.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive package including a salary that reflects the importance of the position, an accommodation allowance, an annual flight allowance, private medical insurance for self and dependents, a Harrow International School education for dependents including a generous fees remission level (subject to school's admissions policy), a performance-related annual bonus, and many further benefits.
