This key leadership role focuses on promoting the wellbeing and pastoral care of students while ensuring the efficient operation of the secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

# Positive Behaviour Management: Support and uphold a positive school culture by addressing behavioural issues and celebrating student achievements.
# Pastoral Welfare: Collaborate with leadership, tutors, and parents to ensure high standards in student welfare, engagement, and behaviour.
# Student Leadership and Community Engagement: Guide student leadership programs, community service initiatives, and student voice projects.
# Operational Oversight: Manage staff deployment for cover, duties, and invigilation, and assist with recruitment and induction.
# Professional Leadership: Contribute to staff development and school improvement through active participation in leadership meetings and initiatives.
# Facilities Management: Support the development and implementation of school systems to promote effective learning and wellbeing environments.

Qualifications and Experience:
+ Proven experience in educational leadership, preferably in a pastoral or wellbeing-focused role.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
+ A commitment to upholding safeguarding practices and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and innovative leader to make a significant impact on our school community.
