Job overview
Wanted: Early Years Teacher who will responsible for the educational care and development of a class of children in accordance with the philosophy of the school’s curriculum program.

Our School
St. Andrews International School Dusit is an Early Years – Primary school located in Bangkok, Thailand. St Andrews Dusit follows the EYFS and UK national curriculum and is an authorised by the EDT, ISAT and ISQM. St Andrews Dusit is comprised of two clear divisions including early years and primary and is further organised by Key Stages. St Andrews Dusit has a modern learning environment staffed by highly trained educators specialising in UK curriculum, play-based and inquiry-led teaching. The population of the school is 280 with ambitions to grow to 400.

Our Early Years
The first steps in education are the most important in building a successful learning journey, which is why at St. Andrews Dusit, we are committed to delivering an Early Years program that is positive, engaging and exciting. Our highly experienced and qualified Early Years teachers deliver a holistic British curriculum for children 2 to 5 years old, providing a wealth of experiences to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.

From toddlers to Reception, our Early Years team provide high quality, interest based and child led opportunities for learning to cover the skills set out in the UK National Curriculum, ‘Development Matters’. We carefully plan for a range of ‘continuous’ and ‘enhanced’ provision which is flexible and specifically targeted to meet the individual needs of all pupils. Our focus is always to develop experiences and skills in all areas of learning. Using our broad-based class topics as a framework, teachers build on interests of each child they observe during play based learning time. This is then extended through teacher led sessions, focused activities and multi-sensory challenges. Our activities provide opportunities for children to explore, investigate, create and discover their way through the curriculum.
