Reports to: English Team Leader (EFL), Head of Primary (Art)
Assigned subject/s: English as a Foreign Language (Primary classes – Japanese International Program or Bilingual Program) & Art Classes (Primary classes – Cambridge Program)
Assigned grade/s: Year 1 - 6
Full Time Position
Other responsibilities:
Running clubs, on mutual agreement with line managers

These are considered contact hours and included within the maximum teaching periods stipulated in the contract.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Purpose of the Role:
This role is designed to enrich the primary education experience by effectively delivering English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and Art within the Cambridge Primary framework at the Japanese International School, Hanoi.
Key Responsibilities:
EFL Teaching:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational English lessons to primary students, according to the Cambridge Primary curriculum.
Utilize various teaching methods and tools to accommodate different learning styles and language levels among students.
Assess and monitor student progress in English language acquisition, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate English language learning across other subject areas.
Art Instruction:
Teach Art classes as part of the Cambridge Primary curriculum, encouraging creative expression and skill development in young learners.
Plan lessons that incorporate a range of artistic techniques and media, aligning with the developmental stages of primary students.
Organize and manage classroom resources and setup to facilitate a productive learning environment for art activities.
Assess student artwork and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement and confidence in artistic skills.
Curriculum Development and Collaboration:
Participate in curriculum planning and development meetings to ensure the EFL and Art programs meet the educational goals of the school.
Work closely with other primary teachers to create interdisciplinary projects that integrate language arts and visual arts.
Contribute to school exhibitions and presentations that showcase student work in English and Art.
Professional Development and School Community Involvement:
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in teaching EFL and Art to young learners.
Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences as required.
Support the school’s vision and mission through active involvement in school initiatives and events.

Salary & Benefits:
Salary: 55,000,000 VND - 70,000,000 VND (Net)
