Job Title:
French Teacher (CBSE Background)

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic French Teacher with a CBSE background to join our residential school in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of teaching experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to join immediately. Candidates are required to provide a demo video as part of the application process. This role involves fostering a love for the French language among students and contributing to the holistic development of the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum Delivery
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons in alignment with the CBSE curriculum for [grade levels].
Use innovative teaching methods and materials to enhance student understanding and interest in the French language.
Develop lesson plans that meet CBSE standards and educational objectives.

Student Assessment and Support
Assess, record, and report on students’ progress and achievements in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents to support language learning goals.
Offer additional support to students needing help with the French language.

Classroom Management
Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective language learning.
Establish and enforce clear rules for behavior and maintain order in the classroom.

Residential School Engagement
Actively participate in the residential school’s extracurricular and community activities.
Support students in their personal, social, and academic development within the residential setting.
Serve as a mentor and role model for students on campus.

Professional Development
Stay updated with advancements in French language teaching and CBSE educational methodologies.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities.
Collaboration and Communication
Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and share resources.
Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff about academic progress and challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field. A teaching certification/license in CBSE is preferred.
Experience: 2-3 years of teaching experience in CBSE-affiliated schools, preferably in a residential school setting.
Skills:
Proficiency in French language teaching with a strong command of the subject.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use technology and digital tools to enhance language learning.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Working Conditions:
Full-time position in a residential school setting.
Accommodation and meals will be provided as per the institution’s policies.
Immediate joining is required.
