Job overview
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic professional to join our team in August 2025
Bloomsbury was founded in 2014 and offers a British-style curriculum to both day and boarding students. There is one class of about 12 students in each year group and we strive to ensure that they are safe, happy and successful.
In an anonymous survey, at least 96% of staff said they enjoy working here, feel trusted and supported, and believe that leaders take their workload into account when making decisions. 100% say students' behaviour is good.
We have received full accreditation from CIS, one of only 20 schools in Thailand to achieve this accolade.
Secondary students bring their own devices to school so teachers need to be skilled in using technology for learning.
Maths is a popular and successful subject. In 2023, one of our students achieved a Cambridge Outstanding Learner Award for Further Maths A Level and students regularly exceed their targets at IGCSE. This is an ideal first step into school leadership and we welcome applications from ambitious colleagues, keen to make an impact on the whole school, and not just in maths. You will be a member of our wider leadership team

Location
Hatyai is located in southern Thailand, only 40 minutes' drive from the nearest beach in Songkhla Town and within easy reach of Krabi, Phuket, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Koh Samui and Koh Lipe, as well as Penang and Langkawi across the border in Malaysia. The international airport offers 16 flights per day to Bangkok and daily flights to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, both of which are only a short distance away, opening up the rest of Asia. It is easy to spend your weekends or holidays exploring this beautiful part of the world.
Hatyai itself is an up and coming city without the high cost of living found in other more well known destinations in Thailand. There are large western style malls and supermarkets, and many bars and restaurants providing a range of international food, yet Hatyai retains a very 'Thai' feel and the population are very friendly and helpful, welcoming people with the famous 'Thai Smile'.
