Description
St. Paul American School Hanoi is a leading educational institution in Vietnam that offers an American-style education to students from diverse backgrounds. Our school provides a challenging and supportive learning environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and global citizenship. We are looking for dynamic ELA teachers for the 2025-2027 school years. Successful candidates should be experienced and familiar in working with ELL students.

There are 2 positions available:

- 9th grade ELA and with possible Pre-AP 9th grade ELA

- 11th grade ELA and AP English Language and Composition

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced High School ELA Teachers to join our dynamic team of educators. Due to work permit requirements, candidates should meet the following criteria (we are not able to deviate from these requirements):

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree or higher in secondary ELA or equivalent and current valid teaching certificate in the subject area

- Minimum of 1 year experience (more preferred) teaching ELA at the high school level

- Experience teaching Advanced Placement (AP) courses preferred

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to create engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners

- Proficient in using technology as a tool for instruction

- Clear criminal history

*Education and Certification must be from the USA or Canada due to work permit regulations
