General DescriptionThe Instructional Assistant (IA) will support teachers in creating a safe, caring, and welcoming learning environment for students. This role involves assisting in classroom preparation, working with individual students or small groups, and collaborating with teachers to meet the needs of all students.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing and organizing the classroom before and after sessions
Assisting teachers with lesson planning and classroom management
Supporting students’ learning in small groups or one-on-one settings
Observing and reporting on children’s progress
Helping maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, reliability, and a passion for working with young children
English language proficiency (TOEFL iBT 80, TOEIC 690, or IELTS 6.5 for non-native speakers)
Previous experience with toddlers and first aid training is a plus
