Job Advertisement: Middle School Science Teacher (Classes VI to VIII)

Position: Middle School Science Teacher
Level: Classes VI to VIII
Subjects: General Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
Education Requirement: B.Sc / M.Sc in Science or related field
Background: ICSE
Location: Kolkata, West Bengal
St. Joan's School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science teacher for our middle school classes (VI to VIII). The ideal candidate should be fluent in English, with a solid academic background in Science and experience in teaching Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Familiarity with the ICSE curriculum is preferred.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.Sc / M.Sc) in Science or a related field from a recognized university.
ICSE background (as a student and/or in teaching experience).
Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
Ability to teach General Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) to Classes VI to VIII.
Strong grasp of subject content with the ability to make learning engaging and relevant to middle school students.
Preferred Criteria:
Previous experience in teaching middle school classes (VI to VIII).
Experience working in an ICSE-affiliated school.
Ability to integrate hands-on experiments and practical applications into the learning process.
Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to managing classroom activities.
Willingness to contribute to school events, exhibitions, and student projects.
