ROLE SUMMARY:
EIS is an IB Continuum (PYP, MYP and DP) school of around 720 students based in the thriving metropolis of Saigon (HCMC), Vietnam. The school has over 40 nationalities and we focus on Individualised teaching and learning. We have an opening for a Teacher of Music and Drama who is passionate about delivering high-quality education, enjoys teaching and improving their teaching practice. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The purpose of EIS Teacher is to promote high quality learning in a challenging yet supportive environment which allows all students to flourish. The Teacher will implement the vision of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) within the broader aims of the Secondary School and wider EIS and inspire students to fulfill their potential. Providing opportunities for high quality learning is at the heart of the role. Successful candidates need to be able to demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to engage fully in the school's community, enrichment activities, excursions and other events.
EIS Teacher - Job Description
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Bachelor of Education with a major in Secondary Education or equivalent and have relevant experience of at least 3 years
Must be eligible to work within Vietnam
As an IB school, experience of teaching in an IB school is an advantage, however, we will always consider well qualified and self-motivated teachers from other teaching backgrounds.
Applicants must have a demonstrable passion for working with children; to develop their learning skills and social confidence and be willing to work as part of a positive and supportive team to achieve the school’s aims and goals
