The Mathematics Tutor is responsible for providing comprehensive instruction and support to students in higher secondary mathematics , ensuring their academic success and proficiency in the subject.
Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in higher secondary mathematics topics.
Provide personalized assistance to students to enhance their understanding and skills in mathematics.
Create and maintain a positive and conducive learning environment in the classroom.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field ; Master's degree preferred. Teaching certification or licensure is also necessary.
Strong knowledge and understanding of higher secondary mathematics curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, enthusiasm for teaching and ability to motivate and inspire students to excel.
The role involves working in a classroom setting within a tuition institute , with standard teaching hours and occasional evening or weekend sessions for extra support or assessments.
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of teaching experience at the high school level and experience in curriculum development and students assessment is highly desirable .
Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and educational technology tools is an advantage.
Proficiency in mathematical concepts up to the higher secondary level is essential.
Flexibility and adaptability in addressing individual student needs and concerns are also valued.
