PGT Physics Facilitator

Position Title: PGT Physics Facilitator
Location: Greater Kailash -1, New Delhi

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated PGT Physics Facilitator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physics lessons to senior secondary students (Grades 11 and 12), fostering a deep understanding of the subject, and helping students develop the necessary skills to excel in academics and beyond. The facilitator will also contribute to the development of a dynamic and stimulating learning environment in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Instruction:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and educational standards.
Ensure that lesson plans align with the learning objectives and provide clear explanations of complex concepts.
Use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, demonstrations, experiments, and multimedia resources to facilitate student learning.
Assess students’ progress regularly and provide timely feedback to help them improve their understanding and performance.

Student Development:
Encourage and motivate students to engage actively in the subject, fostering a passion for learning Physics.
Identify individual student needs and tailor instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Provide guidance on scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Help students prepare for examinations, including providing extra support for remedial learning when needed.

Assessment and Evaluation:
Design and implement formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning and progress.
Grade assignments, exams, and projects, ensuring that feedback is constructive and promotes growth.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and report progress to parents and school administration as required.

Classroom Management:
Maintain a disciplined and focused classroom environment conducive to learning.
Address behavioral and academic issues promptly and professionally, implementing strategies to ensure student success.

Curriculum Development:
Contribute to the development, review, and improvement of the Physics curriculum and teaching materials.
Stay updated with the latest developments in Physics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods and technology into the classroom.
Collaboration and Professional Development:
Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance interdisciplinary learning and ensure consistency across subjects.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching skills.
Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support a positive learning environment.

Co-Curricular Activities:
Organize and participate in co-curricular activities related to Physics, such as science fairs, exhibitions, or field trips.
Mentor and guide students participating in Physics-related competitions or projects.

Qualifications and Skills:
Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Physics or equivalent; B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is preferable.
Proven experience of at least 2+ years in teaching Physics at the senior secondary level (Grades 11 & 12).
Strong understanding of the Physics curriculum and relevant exam boards (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE).
Ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using educational technology and online teaching tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
