Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science (in partnership with King’s College School, Wimbledon and Nanjing Foreign Language School) is seeking to appoint a Social and Emotional Counsellor to join a learning community that integrates the best of international and Chinese education.
Essential requirements:
• Hold a nationally certified psychological counsellor qualification certificate.
• 2+ years experience of providing individual and group counselling services in a school setting and/or to children in a clinical setting
• Specialized knowledge in mental health education, including common psychological problems, psycho-educational methods, etc.
• Organised, outcome-focused, team player, positive but realistic
• Fluent in Mandarin to native level
• Fluent in English skills for daily use in the school
Desirable requirements
• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology or related field.
• Teacher’s qualification certificate

Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science was founded with the strong support of the Wuxi local government, through a partnership between two world-leading schools – Nanjing Foreign Language School, China and King’s College School, Wimbledon, UK – all of whom aimed to build a “school of the future” which focuses on providing well-rounded education.
