Special Educational Needs Teacher

St. Stephen’s International School, Khao Yai Campus, is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and dynamic SEN Teacher to start in August 2025. The successful candidate will lead on SEN provision across the school and will be expected to teach a partial timetable in either the primary school or the humanities department.

St. Stephen's International School Khao Yai is an inclusive school for students from Nursery to the Sixth Form. Students in Early Years follow the EYFS curriculum from England. Students in Year 1 to Year 6 follow an adapted version of the English Curriculum based on the IPC (International Primary Curriculum). Students in secondary follow the KS3 curriculum of England followed by IGCSEs and A Levels;

It is essential to:

• Be an outstanding practitioner.

• Have experience of teaching the English Curriculum.

• Have experience of teaching SEN students.

• Be a native-level English speaker

• Be appropriately qualified (e.g. B.Ed. or a first degree and a PGCE)

• Provide three professional referees, one of whom must be your current, or most recent Principal.

It is desirable to have experience of:

• Working in the international sector

• Have an SEN related qualification or be a qualified SENCO.

St. Stephen’s is a boarding school located very close to the World Heritage Site of the Khao Yai National Park, about two hours drive from Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok. The school has a very large and beautiful campus with stunning local scenery, and is well equipped with many facilities including a specialist STEAMER Centre.
