Hi there! We are Sitapatr School, a small private school in the province of Nakhon si Thammarat, Thailand. Our school is focused on hands-on, fun centered education and we're looking for enthusiastic teachers to join our Primary and Kindergarten teams.
We're looking for teachers who can start on May 1st and the contract offered runs until March 31st 2026. We have a completion bonus of 20,000THB for finishing your contract and the April holiday is paid if you sign on for another year.
The positions available are for various subjects and grade levels but we're looking for
teachers who are energetic and willing to plan fun activities, sing songs and play a lot of interactive games. Our kindergarten classes are predominantly focused on Phonics but we try to build this around conversation and small group activities. Our primary classes average around 25 students per class and we teach English through subjects such as Health, Science, Reading and Math.
Ultimately we'd like teachers who are familiar with phonics but really the most important thing is enthusiasm for creating engaging classes and willingness to integrate with our foreign teams.
Our school has a total of 18 foreign teachers employed, and within our city there are other schools which employ foreign teachers and so we have a big foreign community in our city. This is great for those who like to socialise after school and if you're looking for friends to travel the country with on the weekends. Koh Samui and Koh Phangan are a short drive and ferry trip away and we border the province of Krabi. The province itself is known for its mountains and beaches so if you're looking to experience the beauty of Thailand then this is definitely the right province for you.
Salaries are negotiable for those with qualifications and experience but we start at 35,000THB.
We accept both Native Speakers and Non-Native Speakers but we do require a TOEIC score of at least 900 for our Non-Native Speakers.
